How many employees do we need before making an employee handbook?
Ideally, you need a handbook from the start (especially as that one employee is automatically eligible for some employee protections). If you have between 1-9 employees, you may want an employee handbook that covers the core foundations (federal, state/ local, and basic conduct) plus set yourself up for the next few hires with a list of policies you plan to add soon. Teams in the double digits should gear up for a fuller employee handbook experience. Team milestones can look like : 10-25, 26-49, 50+What size teams do you work with?
